The Ladies' Daytime Bible Study Meets on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The plan is to usually meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month beginning March 21. Our study is Nancy Guthrie's The Lamb of God: Seeing Jesus in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. Each time we watch a lesson from the study by Nancy Guthrie, Pastor Blevins usually leads our discussion, and the ladies enjoy a season of prayer together to end the study. We have a hard end at noon to respect everyone's schedule. You will need a book to participate, so please RSVP HERE with your name and contact information. A ten-lesson Bible Study by Nancy Guthrie

This study of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy covers Israel’s emergence from slavery in Egypt, receiving God’s law at Mount Sinai, and wandering in the wilderness on their way to the Promised Land. We see Jesus pictured in the unblemished lambs who died that first Passover night, in the pillar of fire that guided God’s people, the manna that fed them, and the rock that gushed with water for them to drink. In the law of God given to Moses, we discover a picture of the only person who has ever obeyed God perfectly. In every aspect of the tabernacle, the priesthood, the laws for clean and unclean we see the way Jesus saves us and cleanses us and loves us.
Nancy Guthrie teaches the Bible at her home church, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee, as well as at conferences around the country and internationally, including her Biblical Theology Workshop for Women. She is the author of numerous books and the host of the Help Me Teach the Bible podcast with the Gospel Coalition. She and her husband founded Respite Retreats for couples who have faced the death of a child and are cohosts of the GriefShare video series.
